Mowing, trimming and cleanup on residential and commercial routes across Western New York.
This is the job that keeps the routes running through the season. You will be mowing, string trimming, edging and blowing down properties across Buffalo, the Northtowns and out toward Rochester, usually working the same route each week so you get to know the properties. Early starts, outdoor work in whatever the weather is doing, and a hard stop when the day is done.
What the job involves
- Mowing residential and commercial properties to a weekly or every-other-week schedule
- String trimming and edging along beds, fences, walls and hard surfaces
- Blowing clippings off walks, drives and patios before leaving a property
- Basic bed maintenance: weeding, light pruning and mulch touch-ups
- Loading, unloading and daily checks on trailers and equipment
What we need from you
- A valid driver licence and a clean enough record to be insured on our vehicles
- Able to work outdoors through heat, rain and cold, and lift around 50 lbs
- Reliable timekeeping, because the whole route depends on the first stop
- Some mowing or grounds experience helps, but we will train the right person
Helpful, not essential
- Experience on commercial zero-turn mowers
- Willingness to run snow equipment through the winter
Season and hours
Roughly April through November, with winter snow work available for anyone who wants it. Pay depends on experience and what you can run on site, and we discuss it openly before you start.
