What we collect
If you fill in the estimate form we collect your name, phone number, email address, the property address, the service you asked about, and anything you type into the message box. If you sign up to the newsletter we collect your email address and nothing else.
Like most websites, our host records technical information automatically: IP address, browser type, and which pages were visited. We use that to keep the site running, not to build a profile of you.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, price the work, and keep in touch about the job. If you asked for a quote and we never hear back, we may follow up once or twice. We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
Who else sees it
Our website host stores the site and its data. Form submissions are emailed to us and stored in the website’s own database. If we bring in a subcontractor for part of a job, they get what they need to do that work and nothing more.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while there is a realistic chance of doing the work and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we have a record if you come back to us. Records tied to completed work are kept as long as tax and insurance rules require. Newsletter signups are kept until you unsubscribe.
Cookies
The site uses cookies needed to make pages load and forms work. It does not run advertising trackers. Your browser can block or delete cookies, though some parts of the site may not behave properly if you do.
Your choices
